Executive Director John Doggette spoke on community mediation at the October 17th 2014 Association of Missouri Mediators Annual Conference held in St. Louis. His presentation provided an overview of community mediation centers nationally as well as the specific programs of the Community Mediation Services, including Neighborhood Mediation, Eldercare Mediation, Family Mediation, Town Hall Meetings, and Police Citizen Mediation. John’s presentation was titled “Understanding Community Mediation – “Worthwhile, Holier Than Thou, or Just a Band-Aid.” The conference was well attended and the presentation well received.
